Frequently Asked Questions

Why has Bravo stopped airing Columbo?
After many years as a mainstay on our daytime schedule, the Peter Falk detective series Columbo ended its run on Bravo in March 2005 due to the expiration of our license to air the show. While Bravo may elect to reacquire the series in the future, at present there is no timetable for doing so. Fortunately, fans of this classic series may now enjoy the first two seasons commercial-free on DVD, available at the NBC Universal store and elsewhere.

How can I be on Project Runway?
To stay up-to-date on Project Runway and be the first to hear about casting announcements for Season 4, sign up for our special Project Runway mailing list.

How can I get tickets to a taping of Celebrity Poker Showdown?
The Palms Casino in Las Vegas is the home of Celebrity Poker Showdown. Free tickets for tapings are handled by them directly. Unfortunately, we are not always able to announce taping dates in advance, so your best bet is to contact the Palms directly for more information.

Why don't you show episodes of The West Wing in order?
Actually we do, almost all the time. At present, Bravo has the rights to all episodes from the series' first five seasons (season six airs Wednesday nights on NBC). We currently have four different "strands" of episodes running:
  • Monday – Thursday at 7pm (rerun at 6pm the next Mon-Thu) = 4 episodes each week
  • Monday – Thursday at Midnight (pre-running at 1am the night before, and Noon the same day) = 4 episodes each week
  • Monday at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm and 11pm = 4 episodes each week
  • Thursday at 8pm & 9pm = 2 episodes each week
If you want to avoid duplicate airings, you might want to concentrate on only one of these "strands." Please note that the two stand-alone episodes — the documentary episode and the 9/11-inspired "Isaac and Ishmael" — are not part of the series' continuity, and thus run at places in the sequence outside of their original spots.

How can I unsubscribe from Bravo emails?
For emails sent to viewers, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of each message, or fill out the form at www.bravotv.com/Unsubscribe. For corporate and other email lists (such as those sent to cable operators or advertisers) not sent out by bravotv.com, refer to the email you received for specific instructions.

Where can I find Bravo's feed?
Our East Coast Feed is on AMC-11, Transponder 24, while our West Coast Feed can be found on AMC-10, Transponder 13.

Does Bravo air any shows in High-Definition Television (HDTV) format?
Some Bravo programs including specials from Cirque du Soleil can be seen on Universal HD, a new high definition service from NBC Universal. This service replaced Bravo HD+ in December 2005. At the present time, there are no plans for a stand-alone HD version of Bravo.

Where can I see a list of the winners of a recent Bravo contest or sweepstakes?
Recent winners' names — along with information about current sweepstakes — can be found at www.bravotv.com/Contests.

Why do you ask for feedback and then just send me an automated response?
We get this one a lot. While we appreciate our viewers and would love to correspond with each of you individually, as Bravo is available in over 75 million homes, this is not logistically possible. Instead, think of our feedback form as an opportunity for you to tell us what's on your mind so that we can improve the things we do in the future. Learning what you like and don't like, when we've done well and when we've fallen short of your expectations helps us determine what kind of programs to produce, how best to promote and schedule them, how to keep you informed of changes, and how to build, update and improve our website. We don't always answer but we do listen, so please keep writing!

Will Bravo be producing more episodes of Manhunt, Boy Meets Boy, Gay Weddings, The It Factor, Things I Hate About You, Significant Others or Page To Screen?
At this time, there are no plans to produce additional episodes of any these popular series, though plans do change in the future so please check back for new information as it becomes available.

Where can I find Jonathan's salon, as seen on Blow Out?
Blow Out star Jonathan Antin's original West Hollywood salon can be found at 901 Westbourne Dr., West Hollywood CA, 90069. His new salon, featured in the series, is at 9681 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA 90212.

Can I buy episodes of Inside the Actors Studio or other Bravo programs?
Unfortunately, most original series that air on Bravo are not currently available for purchase on home video, nor does Bravo directly sell shows or movies to viewers. For available items, search at Amazon.com.

Does Bravo edit programs for content?
Like nearly all advertiser-supported networks, Bravo edits programming for certain "objectionable" content, including nudity and offensive language. Standards vary from community to community, but as a national network available on basic cable across the country, Bravo adheres to standards that we think will be acceptable to the majority of our viewers, our sponsors and our cable and satellite affiliates. While we do set our own standards (and push them occasionally, as we've done with Kingpin and The Larry Sanders Show), in most cases the studios provide us with TV-ready versions of our programs designed to be acceptable to most TV networks and not specifically tailored for our use.

Can I get Bravo and, if so, on what channel?
Bravo presently reaches more than 76 million homes across America, via cable and satellite services. If you live in the U.S. and subscribe to one of those services, odds are pretty good that you can get Bravo. To find out for sure, and to determine what channel number they have assigned us in your area, check our Get Bravo page, or contact your local cable operator or satellite provider.

What time is my favorite show airing or re-airing?
You can now search the Bravo schedule for the current month and (generally) the next month. Simply find the form at the top of any page, make sure to select the Schedule option, type in a portion of the program name you're looking for and hit the SEARCH button. The results page will list all matches in the current month. To see results for other available months, use the arrows keys to the left or right of the current month name.

If a show is not listed there in any month, it means that it has not yet been scheduled. In that case, your best bet is to check back from time to time to see if it has been added.

Why do your Mountain and Pacific time zone schedules not match what I see in my TV listings?
Bravo offers two feeds, Eastern and Pacific. This enables programs to start at the same time for most of our viewers on both coasts. For example, Inside the Actors Studio is scheduled to air Sundays at 8pm and Midnight for viewers in the Eastern and Pacific time zones.

Most satellite services and some cable systems, however, offer the Eastern feed regardless of the time zone in which their subscribers reside. For these viewers, they'll need look at the Eastern or Pacific schedule listings and subtract hours (3 for Pacific, 2 for Mountain) from the time listed. So, to revisit our example, DirecTV subscribers in California will see Inside the Actors Studio at 5pm and 9pm local time, rather than the 8pm and Midnight listed.

How do I submit story or show ideas to Bravo?
Due to a number of factors, including volume of mail, employee safety, and legal issues, Bravo cannot accept unsolicited creative ideas or materials.
