Original Airdate: October 16, 2005

When Sir Elton John first entered the music scene in the early 1970's, he became a revolutionary performer in the pop genre. Between 1972 and 1975, John had seven consecutive number one albums. His most notable hits include “Rocket Man,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Candle In The Wind,” and “Daniel,” among many more.

He has overcome considerable amounts of media scrutiny of his sexual orientation, battled with bulimia, and overcome his dependencies on drugs and alcohol.
