Rosie O'Donnell began her career doing stand-up comedy throughout the East Coast. She broke into the entertainment industry on the hit television sitcom, “Gimme a Break” and soon afterward hosted the stand-up comedy series, “Stand-Up Spotlight.”

O'Donnell's film appearances include “A League of Their Own,” “Another Stakeout,” and “Sleepless in Seattle.” She was also dubbed “The Queen of Nice” for her extremely successful run as daytime talk show host on “The Rosie O'Donnell Show.”
